Melbourne Virgin Australia staffer sings Christmas carol and wows passengers

 

 

A man standing at the counter is clearly impressed by her talents but Miss Stagg said yet more passengers approached her in the heartfelt moments that followed.

“One lady came up and said they had all been talking about it and that is had been a nice surprise.

“We can get so caught up at this time of the year ... it was just a great way to lift people’s spirits.’’

Miss Stagg said she was not a professional singer but was part of the music team at Life Church in Melbourne. She has been part of the airport ground staff for the last decade.

“It’s an amazing place to work. No day is ever the same,’’ she said.

A Virgin Australia spokeswoman said the airline was always looking for ways to improve the customer experience.

“It was great to see our team member Bethany bring some Christmas cheer to our Melbourne lounge ... we encourage our team members to go above and beyond for our guests.’’
